About Us

Hello! We are empty-nesters Mark & Jeanna Parker with furbaby Charlie. We are selling our home and most of our possessions as we prepare to transition to full time living on our 38ft Endeavour Trawler Catamaran, the Blessed Beyond Measure. Simple life, here we come!

Sea breeze puts us at ease

Sea breeze puts us at ease

Some people love mountains and cool weather, while others prefer the bustling excitement of the concrete jungle. We, however, love the ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise’ feeling we get when we step aboard our vessel. Calm waters, gentle breezes, picturesque sunsets are definitely our love language!? We look forward to sharing our transition from land dwellers to full-time live-aboards with you.

We believe in…

Good Vibes

We are in a period of overwhelming blessing in our lives. We chose to focus on forward motion, positivity, and ‘paying it forward’.

Good Health

Changing our habits literally saved our lives! We adopted a healthy lifestyle in 2020 and look forward to living healthy while at sea.

Good Company

We have an amazing community of friends & family, near and far, who support and love us. Of course, they are excited to be our guests!

Mark, Jeanna, and Charlie Parker

We have always enjoyed vacations and time together, but have relied on planes, cars and our RV for transport. We are thrilled to ‘dive in’ to the boating lifestyle and experience the wet side of life on our catamaran. Of course our fur child Charlie Parker will be right by our side, but don’t expect a lot of swimming from him, he prefers naps on the couch in the air conditioning!

So… our next chapter? We bought a boat!

Well here we go! We are finally here! We have our vessel, we have our blog and we have big plans & dreams! Our journey has been a long work in progress and we are finally building our life around what matters most.

We decided 2 years ago to downsize our home. We had a large historic home that was too big for us, we were finally empty-nesters (the most lovely word in the English language) so we decided to scale back and move to a 55+ community to live more simply. We have absolutely loved the simplicity of it. I, of course, am not old enough to live there, Mark is my ticket in.

We’re sailing pretty.

Places on our bucket list of travel include: the Florida Keys for lobster season, the Dry Tortugas (we have been there on a day tour, but would love to anchor for a couple of weeks), definitely the Bahamas, for sure the Exumas, Turks & Caicos and the ultimate would be the Virgin Islands (obviously we love the Caribbean water). We are not inclined to traveling the Great Loop yet. Maybe we could be convinced someday, but there is no therapy like clear water, white sand and palm trees.
